Full Time, Permanent – 42.5hrs per week (Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm)
About The Role
As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor you will carry out a range of electrical work and to supervise Electrical Operatives and Electrical Contractors working on our clients housing stock ensuring that any electrical Installations which are worked on are safe for continued use to safeguard the service users, members of the public, clients personnel and Mears employees from any potential danger associated with electricity.
Assist with Audit processes, adhering to strict quality control & electrical safety requirements.
QS reviewing electrical certification as well as assist with supporting the delivery of any training, toolbox talks & compliance requirements which may be identified.
Role Criteria
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.

About The Role

Role Criteria
- Experience with installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
- Have the knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report
- Flexibility to cover the out of hours rota where required: 1 weekend in 4, and 1 day a week depending on the business needs to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs
- To ensure that all electrical work is carried in accordance with The Electricity @ Work Regulations 1989 and in line with the requirements of BS 7671 (as amended) and Mears Electrical Procedures and Policies
- Have the ability to produce specifications & quotations, working closely with our Clients on any electrical associated projects.
- NVQ Level 3 Including AM2
- Test & Inspection – City & Guilds 2391 Qualification
- 18th Addition (BS 7671:2018) – City & Guilds 2382
- NICEIC compliance qualified
- Previous experience as a Electrical Qualified Supervisor
- Uk Full driving licence
- Provide own hand tools
