We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Assistant to support the day-to-day running of KILLSTAR’s online store. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build experience in e-commerce, with a focus on product launches, website updates, and quality assurance. You’ll work closely with the wider team to help keep the site and app accurate, engaging, and on-brand. If this sounds like you, please read on!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Product Launches

  • Coordinate and execute end-to-end product launches on Shopify
  • Upload and manage product listings, including imagery, descriptions, pricing, tags, and variants
  • Ensure all launch timelines are met and products go live accurately

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Conduct thorough QA checks on products before and after launch
  • Test functionality and user experience across the website and app (mobile + desktop)
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to product pages, checkout, navigation, and integrations
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy across all onsite content

Shopify Content Management

  • Build and update homepages, landing pages, and collection pages using Shopify
  • Implement campaign pages aligned with marketing briefs and brand direction
  • Manage and update site content, banners, and navigation

Visual Merchandising

  • Execute digital visual merchandising strategies to optimise product visibility and conversion
  • Curate collections and product ordering to reflect trends, campaigns, and stock priorities
  • Ensure the site reflects KILLSTAR’s brand identity and seasonal storytelling

Website & App Optimisation

  • Regularly review site performance and user journey
  • Suggest improvements to enhance UX, conversion rate, and engagement
  • Support A/B testing initiatives where applicable

General Administration

  • Conduct administration tasks for the Head of Ecommerce, Ecommerce Manager and Ecommerce Executives
  • Organise key meetings and manage diaries
  • Note taking and cross-team communications

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Highly organised with excellent time management
  • A problem-solver who spots issues before customers do
  • Creative eye with a strong sense of digital presentation
  • A fashion lover with a good understanding of the goth customer aesthetic and lifestyle
  • A team player with a hands-on attitude

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to QA
  • Understanding of e-commerce best practices and customer journey
  • Basic knowledge of visual merchandising principles
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Interest in alternative fashion and alignment with the KILLSTAR brand aesthetic

BONUS IF YOU:

  • Experience with Shopify apps and CMS tools
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

WORK HOURS & LOCATION:

We support a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week at our Brighton HQ and 2 days flexible. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 6:00pm.
