An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Abundant Grace in Seaford.
Hours: 3 days per week, 21hrs
Wk. - 1 Mon, Wed, Thurs - 8-3
Wk. - 2 Wed, Sat, Sun - 8-3

The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior
service to our residents
- To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home at all times.
- To clean residents’ rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and water/dispose of as necessary.
- To clean communal area’s including mopping, vacuuming, dusting
- Ensuring the home is safe e.g removing clutter, keeping storage area’s tidy
- Shampoo carpets as and when needed.
- To present and provide clean and ironed laundry at all times, available for clients as needed
- To take particular care with resident’s personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
- To check resident’s personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to matron for discussion if a repair if necessary
- Hourly rate £12.21 - £12.82
