Are you an engineering leader who enjoys shaping how engineering teams deliver rather than simply what they deliver?
This is an opportunity to join a global technology organisation in a highly influential leadership role, driving engineering excellence across multiple development teams.
As Director of Engineering you'll define and champion the software engineering vision, embedding modern development practices, improving delivery quality and helping engineering teams build faster, more reliably and at greater scale.

You'll champion modern engineering approaches including cloud-native architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, AI assisted development and developer productivity tooling. You'll help solve the organisation's most complex technical challenges, evolve engineering standards and ensure products remain secure, scalable and resilient.
Alongside technical leadership, you'll play a key role in developing engineering capability, partnering with Engineering Managers and Technical Leaders to build high performing teams, mentor future leaders and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
You'll also drive engineering performance through meaningful metrics, improving delivery predictability, software quality, operational efficiency and technical maturity while reducing technical debt and enabling teams to deliver value at pace.
