We are now looking for a Development Chemist to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. This is a junior management role with two reports, which could easily lead to a more senior management role.

The Role
As a Development Chemist Team Leader, you will support the creation and testing of new water quality instrumentation products.
Working primarily in the laboratory, you’ll focus on advancing our sensor technologies, fine-tuning their accuracy and functionality to ensure exceptional reliability and performance in real-world conditions.
Alongside this, you’ll plan and execute in-depth testing procedures, evaluate complex data sets, and present clear, evidence-based insights that guide technical improvements and product enhancements.
Additionally, you will:
- Procure materials and record stock quantities
- Create risk assessments and follow COSHH regulations
- Manage two reports
- Join the Management Advisory Group
About You
To be considered as a Development Chemist, you will need:
- Laboratory experience
- An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- A good chemistry degree or equivalent qualification
