Hybrid - minimum of 2 days per week on-site.

Join our snack-loving team! We're looking for a Demand Manager - Grocery to join our team at KP Snacks. Fancy being part of a group where your ideas matter and your growth is celebrated? Keep reading – this might just be your next adventure!

This role plays a key part in ensuring product availability for our major supermarket customers by owning and improving forecast accuracy across a portfolio of KP Snacks products.

You’ll manage and support a small team of Demand Planners, overseeing forecast input and updates, driving continuous improvement, and partnering with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, and Supply Planning. With a focus on enhancing forecast accuracy, service levels, and efficiency, you’ll support short- and long-term business planning while enabling great customer service and operational decision-making.

Success in this role relies on strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to challenge and influence effectively. You’ll also contribute to S&OP processes and cross-functional meetings, ensuring customer needs and business goals are aligned.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about leading people, improving processes, and driving collaboration, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact across the business.

What’s in it for you?

We believe in giving back and making sure you're happy and thriving. Here's a taste of what we offer:

  • A salary of circa. £65000 depending on experience.
  • Annual bonus scheme, with an excellent track record of over achievement.
  • Car cash allowance of £6000.
  • Comprehensive Healthcare Support – Access to a Medicash Health Cash Plan or Private Healthcare, including a Digital GP service, Best Doctors (Second Medical Opinion Service), and specialist Cancer Care for peace of mind when you need it most.
  • KP Pension Plan - contribution matching up to 7% of your salary
  • 25 days holiday + holiday buy scheme
  • KP4ME - online benefits, discounts, prizes, competitions and information platform with access to mental, physical and financial wellbeing information and tools

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and develop a team of Demand Planners, providing coaching, support and direction to ensure accurate forecasting, excellent stakeholder service, and strong functional capabilities across systems and processes.
  • Take on the challenge of delivering high forecast accuracy and low bias across a complex customer base and SKU portfolio, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and proactively address risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply, Finance, and Customer Services, ensuring alignment on forecast assumptions, promotional activity, NPD, and demand shifts – all while driving shared accountability through the S&OP process.
  • Influence key business outcomes by maintaining high service levels, supporting revenue delivery, and enabling effective factory planning and raw material scheduling through timely, accurate demand signals.
  • Develop expertise in forecasting systems, analytical tools, and S&OP best practice, with the opportunity to shape the evolution of demand planning at KP Snacks by driving continuous improvement, championing innovation, and contributing to wider supply chain leadership initiatives.

Job requirements

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • You bring a strong understanding of demand planning and forecasting, ideally within the FMCG sector, supported by a sound grasp of supply chain processes, UK retail dynamics, and customer behaviours.
  • Your advanced Excel and analytical skills make you a key contributor to team success, allowing you to interpret data, share insights, and support collaborative decision-making across functions.
  • With at least 5 years of experience in forecasting and managing a team, you have transferable leadership skills, a coaching mindset, and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with systems like Blue Planner is a bonus, and while a degree or specific qualifications aren’t essential, a proactive approach to learning and improvement is highly valued – we encourage applications even if you don’t meet every criteria.
  • You embody KP’s values by building strong relationships, driving continuous improvement, and staying solutions-focused, with a flexible mindset and the ability to balance detail and big-picture thinking in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
