Dealerpoint Manager – London South (Croydon)


Salary dependent upon skill set and experience + bonus + company car + BUPA!


Due to an internal promotion an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Dealerpoint Manager to lead and develop our Volvo Trucks & Bus operation in Croydon. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence while representing one of the most respected brands in the commercial vehicle industry.


With full dealership P&L responsibility You will lead and drive the day to day and strategic development of the dealer operation, ensuring the engagement of all of your team.


Through your leadership. You will manage, coach and develop your team of technical & administrative staff. To ensure the delivery of the highest standards of customer service through excellent aftermarket practices, communications, and innovative solutions and strong leadership.

  • The ability to manage and sustain a profitable business, maintain energy levels, and apply high levels of professional discipline both internally and externally.
  • To be the driving force in building on the company Lean for Retail development processes and activities. Ensuring staff engagement and commitment to the improvement of the dealer operational processes, efficiencies and quality of service.
  • The ability to focus on building on the existing partnership that our customers currently enjoy with Volvo Trucks, Products and Services as well as building new partnerships.
  • To work in conjunction with the regions central support functions to ensure workshop planning, workshop repair order instruction and invoicing issues are reviewed and resolved collectively


Key responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility for the performance of the Volvo Trucks & Bus Dealerpoint.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop sales, service, and parts teams.
  • Drive profitability through effective cost control and revenue growth.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and long-term customer relationships.
  • Deliver Volvo brand standards across sales, aftersales, and facilities.
  • Monitor KPIs, budgets, and forecasts, implementing action plans where required.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the Dealerpoint and Volvo UK.
  • To ensure the dealers compliance to Volvo Group health, safety and environmental responsibilities and procedures


About you

  • Proven management experience within commercial vehicles, automotive, or dealer operations.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Commercially focused with a track record of improving performance.
  • Customer focused.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on.
  • Ability to think clearly and work under pressure with a clear focus on business performance and KPI’s.
  • Knowledge of Volvo Trucks & Bus products or similar OEM brands is highly desirable.
