Background

Some companies want to hire a Data Scientist for all the wrong reasons. They're not ready to build a data science team or they think they need a Data Scientist, when actually what they really need is a good engineer or reporting analyst.

I've hired Data Scientists for previous clients before in this situation and 6-12 months after hiring someone the new hire is bored, frustrated and looking to move on.

So when I speak to a company where Data Science is at the heart of the business, it always excites me and makes me feel a lot more comfortable about hiring for them.

So! If you are a Data Scientist that is looking for a new challenge, where you will be working with brilliantly collaborative people in a growing industry then please read on.

It is a brilliant business who is genuinely forward thinking and growing organically. They seek bright and motivated people to help them revolutionise an industry and have a positive impact on the planet, whilst having fun along the way.

  • You have at least 3 years of commercial experience developing and productionising real-time projects in Machine Learning and Data Science.

  • Version control code (Git) including dev, test and production environments.
