An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and self-motivated person to join the Affordable Housing Team.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and technical assistance to facilitate the delivery of affordable homes across Somerset.
You will be the data co-ordinator working with closely with council colleagues, affordable housing delivery partners and other key stakeholders to establish and maintain a range of affordable housing statistical records.
You will undertake administrative support to the Affordable Housing Service including organising affordable housing community events, supporting affordable housing promotional work and be responsible for maintaining and updating the affordable housing information on external and internal websites.
This is a unique opportunity to make a difference and be instrumental in providing much needed affordable housing across Somerset.

- Full time, permanent position, 37 hours per week.
- Grade 13: £25,183 - £27,269 per annum.
- 28 days annual leave.
- This role offers hybrid working with the role based at either Taunton, Bridgwater, Shepton Mallett or Yeovil. Base location to be agreed between the successful candidate and line manager.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good IT skills to include experience of Microsoft systems, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in data management.
- Good organisational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work collaboratively.
- Proven administrative skills.
- 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C/Level 4 including English Language and Maths would be preferable.
