Data Analyst - #136680

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team based in Peterborough, on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week on-site.

You will be tasked to setup a reporting function, using Power BI. Initially looking to take data from around the business, consolidate and then create a place for the data to sit, and eventually create Power BI reports and visuals. This is a brand-new environment, not developing an existing one.

Data Analyst - Key Skills

• Proficient in Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service)â
• Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for calculations and metricsâ
• Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaningâ
• Experience and understanding of relational databases and querying (SQL)â
• Experience working with large datasets and optimising reports for performanceâ
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is desirableâ
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detailâ
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
