The Customer Development Manager is responsible for direct commercial sales activities for customers in the Bakery & Nutrition markets. You will need to have a proactive approach to sales to maintain and expand relationships with customers and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailor made solutions from our portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
The Customer Development Manager reports directly to the Commercial Director
You are required to have accurate reporting skills with attention to detail and an efficient persona. Your method is characterised as solution and results-oriented, and you should have strong analytical skills. You will act as a full partner for your relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues. In addition to staying knowledgeable of any changes that could improve quality requirements for our customers.

Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Bakery & Nutrition customers
- Meet & succeed Sales Targets focused on Material Margin
- Develop a deep understanding of our product portfolio and applications to offer solutions to the customers
- Gather market feedback from customers collaborating with Product Management and team members
- Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and manager opportunity pipeline
- Prepare and deliver and follow Sales Plans to support growth plans with in the territory
- Act as liaison between Caldic Ingredient and clients ensuring customer satisfaction
- Attend supplier training to ensure wide range of product knowledge
- Attend sales meeting to present and collaborate with team members
- Material margin and revenue (growth)
- Generation and follow up of opportunities (number, MM value, success rate)
- CRM adoption
- Number of customer visits
- Cross-selling
- Compile and register product customer potentials (market intelligence)
- Growth of Value Add Categories.
