STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Culture & People Specialist

Huddersfield | U.K.| Full-time | Permanent

As a functional specialist in our Culture & People Operations team, you will be a key player in delivering our exciting and ambitious people plan. You will act as a trusted advisor to our UK business, understanding and supporting delivery of the people strategy, but also supporting on a wide range of day-to-day people issues and projects. You’ll manage stakeholder relationships, not only with the business areas but also across the wider Culture & People function drawing on the specialist experience to implement an engaging employee lifecycle, including – Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Reward and Learning & Development related activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing People Operations team well positioned to support significant growth of STADA UK over the next five years.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Culture & People Strategy: support the implementation of the UK People Plan, fostering a productive, open, empowering, safe, and inclusive culture, and providing expert support to achieve People Plan objectives while representing STADA internally and externally.
  • People Operations: act as the lead HRIS administrator, ensuring data accuracy and system improvements. Provide an expert advisory and administration services across the employee lifecycle, ensuring prompt action on employee issues. Be an expert in all things policy and process, coordinating employee relations cases end-to-end.
  • Talent Acquisition: promote brand awareness through all external channels, ensure new recruits are prepared for onboarding, lead the UK company induction programme, and manage resourcing plans for STADA UK's Early Career programme.
  • Talent Development: implement global and local talent management and leadership development initiatives, assist in planning and preparing training modules, and prepare reports to monitor employee attendance and address key development needs.
  • Performance Culture: collaborate with line managers on performance improvement plans and coordinating the annual review cycle. Implement performance and reward programmes to promote STADA UK's Growth Culture, including the preparation and research of the UK benefits programme.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in a HR generalist role, either at Specialist or Senior Advisor level providing expert support to employees at all levels, within a large, fast-paced organisation.
  • CIPD Level 5 in HR Management or equivalent experience.
  • Confident working in a matrix organisation and excel at collaborative working in a complex environment.
  • Experience of working with employee reward, employee relations and shared service models.
  • A great communicator that can build relationships at all levels and be pro-active to take initiative with problem solving.
  • Experience in managing internal stakeholder expectations particularly during periods of high-volume work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills & active listening skills.
  • Robust organizational and project management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to de-escalate tension and steer the conversation towards solutions and negotiate compromise.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional data analysis skills, including advanced use of HRIS (preferably SAP SuccessFactors), MS Office and other HR reporting tools.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, taking your own initiative when required, and demonstrate good time management & organisational skills, balancing day-to-day requirements with projects.
  • A champion of ethics who promotes integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism consistently.
