About the role

Contracts & Tenders Executive

As a Contracts & Tenders Executive, you will join a critical team responsible for securing business through the creation of innovative tender submissions for new and existing large customer contracts.

We work hard to really understand and articulate how Bidfood can deliver our customer’s needs and so much more. Our fun and social team enjoy celebrating our successes – we are proud of what we achieve and how we work together to create winning tenders to maintain Bidfood’s competitive advantage.

This role touches every part of our business from Warehouse to Transport, Sustainability to Supply Chain, Marketing to Finance, as you collate the vital information to create a unique and compelling customer proposition. This means you won’t feel like a stranger for long, you will build great relationships fast and have a front row seat of all the possibilities within our business.

You will need to be comfortable with handling multiple deadlines and tasks at once, and be able to work just as well on your own as you do as part of a team. Ideally you will have experience of working in a fast paced role where you enjoy the buzz of hitting a deadline.

Your ability to communicate both verbally and in writing is a key part of the role, you will be using Microsoft Office programmes so experience using Excel, Word and Outlook is desirable. Experience with CRM systems is also desirable, but not essential.

But above all of that, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, cares about their team and who is willing to learn – we will take you through the rest!
