About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to join Sage Homes on a full time basis. The Contract Manager will be responsible for supporting the Senior Contract Manager on contracts at Sage Homes ensuring operational and commercial targets are met.

This role is based at our Northampton office 3 days per week and if required 2 days per week remotely. There will be travel to our sites and London office on occasions.


Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Support the Senior Contract Manager in managing nationwide contracts, ensuring robust monitoring systems to maintain high service levels and compliance standards.
  • Lead on individual contracts, ensuring operational and financial KPIs are met, while providing regular and ad hoc performance reports to assure stakeholders.
  • Identify and address underperformance swiftly, implement quality control measures, and ensure contracted services meet customer satisfaction and value for money standards.
  • Play a key role in understanding and improving the customer experience, using insights to drive continuous service delivery improvements.
  • Build strong relationships across Sage to support effective contract management and foster a collaborative quality assurance approach with internal teams and contracted providers.


About you


  • Extensive experience managing complex contracts, ensuring timely invoicing, POs, and resolving commercial issues.
  • Deep understanding of housing, construction, property services, and affordable housing risks and regulations.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, team coordination, and adaptable to changing needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and mobile tools, with a focus on digital safety.
  • Strong communicator, deadline-driven, data-focused, and skilled at creating performance reports.
