What You Will Do

• Opportunities to lead compliance initiatives and act as the deputy for the UK Compliance Officer.
• Assisting with business impact assessment, regulatory change management, and implementation programs.
• Extensive dialogue with traders and their business support teams, counterparties, regulatory authorities, various trade associations and working groups.
• Maintain necessary compliance polices, and documentation.
• Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments relevant to KS&T’s business.
• FCA reporting.
• Delivery of training.
• AML/KYC onboarding oversight/checks.
• Responding to Exchange enquiries.
• Monitoring trades/surveillance.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in a legal or compliance function of a commodities-related business.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Good organizational, project management, analytical, critical thinking skills and good judgement that leads to effective action.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experienced with handling regulatory enquires.
• Ability to communicate, interact with, and challenge staff at all levels – good team working skills critical.
• Knowledge of any of the following regulations: MAR, REMIT, MiFID/ MIFID I, MAS and EMIR.
• Knowledge of LME.
• FCA Handbook knowledge.
• Knowledge of European Commodity Exchange Rulebooks
• Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering Rules.
