About the role
The postholder will provide information, advice and practical support on all social welfare law matters, to people attending community outreach locations, maintaining clear and accurate records of client interactions. They will provide support and guidance to our outreach volunteers and will attend community events and one-off advice and information sessions, some of which may be outside normal office hours, including Saturdays on occasion.
They will be a highly motivated strong team player with excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a busy office environment.
They will have the ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity, have good numeracy skills, and have effective oral and written communication skills in order to liaise with clients, volunteers and external parties.
A DBS check will be required for this role. Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. We will consider job applicants on their individual merits.
