Salary: £32,000-39,000 base depending on experience, plus full benefits listed below.

About the role

Are you a strategic communicator with a knack for storytelling, planning and making digital tools work harder? As the Communications & Implementation Executive you’ll shape and lead internal communications across our On Trade business—bringing clarity to strategy, energy to engagement, and impact to our tools and channels.


This is a highly visible role that blends content creation, channel management, commercial planning, and platform ownership. You’ll act as the comms go-to for the On Trade team—creating compelling comms, enabling our sales force with the right tools, and supporting senior leaders in landing key messages that matter.


What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll lead and deliver a connected and commercial internal communications plan for the On Trade, keeping our people engaged, aligned and inspired. You’ll also act as the owner of key platforms and tools to support effective delivery.
  • Design and deliver a 12-month rolling internal comms plan, aligned with business strategy and commercial priorities
  • Coordinate our “Commercial Planning” cycle—ensuring content is highly engaging, approved by leaders, and communicated on time.
  • Lead and manage “The Fount”, our On Trade comms platform—owning content, setting tone, and acting as the gatekeeper for key messages
  • Introduce and embed best practice in messaging and formats—ensuring we reach the right people in the right way
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of communications through regular feedback, surveys, and performance data
  • Lead on sales enablement tools such as Showpad and SFA—managing administration, content relevance, and adoption
  • Work cross-functionally with internal comms colleagues across the business to maintain alignment and share insight


What you’ll need to navigate:

This role requires resilience, judgement, and a continuous improvement mindset. You’ll be influencing at all levels and ensuring our communications land with impact.

  • Balancing multiple communication formats to suit different audiences and channels—continuously testing what works
  • Confidently pushing back or reshaping communications that don’t align with the wider strategy
  • Monitoring sales tool usage and identifying opportunities to improve adoption—sharing insights with managers to support team coaching


Who we’re looking for

You’re experienced in internal communications and able to bring strategy to life through well-crafted messaging, strong planning, and the smart use of tools.

  • Proven track record in internal communications, ideally in fast-paced or commercial settings
  • Strong writing, editing and content development skills across multiple channels
  • Proficient in video creation
  • Confident stakeholder manager—you know when to challenge and how to influence
  • Technically competent with tools such as Showpad, SharePoint Modern, and email comms systems
  • Experience in delivering change communications, leading events, and supporting engagement through data-driven insights
  • Understanding of sales enablement tools and how they support the sales force is an advantage

As this role is office based, please note we currently operate a hybrid working framework which allows us to capture the benefits of both working in the office and at home. For full time roles, we work a minimum of 3 days in the office, a Tuesday and Thursday are for all, with the third day being defined by the colleague.
