Job Description
We are currently working with law firm in Basingstoke who are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to support their Commercial Real Estate Department on a part-time basis.
You will provide administrative support to fee earners within the Commercial Real Estate team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities Will Include

You will provide administrative support to fee earners within the Commercial Real Estate team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Opening and closing client files, including obtaining ID and compliance documentation.
- Arranging meetings and liaising with colleagues.
- Liaising with clients via the telephone, email or face to face.
- Assisting with SDLT applications and post completion processes.
- Using the Land Registry and responding to requisitions.
- Audio typing.
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post.
- Previous Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant or Legal Administrative experience within a law firm.
- Strong and efficient secretarial and admin skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems.
- Part Time hours – Monday – Friday 1:30pm – 5pm.
- Salary depending on experience: £25,000 - £27,000 Pro Rata.
- Pension contributions and holiday entitlement.
- Work Social events.
