We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated individual to join the medical education team in our busy and well-established medical education, simulation and resuscitation centre as a clinical teaching fellow.

This post is aimed at doctors wishing to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of medical education. Every effort will be made to tailor the post to the candidate’s clinical and career needs. In addition, you will receive funding towards a formal qualification in medical education and support for the development of a quality improvement education project.

Job plan

The exact job plan will be agreed with the Director of Medical Education and relevant Clinical Director after appointment however it currently involves weekly blocks of either Medical Education or Vascular Clinical work, with every Wednesday dedicated to Medical Education. The educational activity would ideally reflect the below outline.
