As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for outside business-to-business (B2B) sales, managing the entire sales cycle, gaining new market share, and growing existing accounts. Overview
As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for outside business-to-business (B2B) sales, managing the entire sales cycle, gaining new market share, and growing existing accounts. This is a full-time opportunity selling Xerox Office Technology and Services including hardware, software, apps, information technology (IT), and professional services in an assigned territory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Proactive Client Engagement & Account Ownership: Initiate impactful client outreach to both current and new clients and serve as the first sales point of contact, ensuring client needs are met through tailored solutions and impactful presentations, driving relationship success and business value.
- Strategic Sales & Revenue Growth: Lead efforts to surpass revenue targets, drive year-over-year growth, and penetrate markets by developing effective sales strategies for digital print solutions and other offerings.
- Client-Centric Solutions & Collaboration: Understand client requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and manage tailored solutions that foster profitable relationships and ensure long-term success.
- Operational Excellence & Reporting: Maintain efficient sales processes, ensuring data accuracy in back-end systems, while providing detailed monthly forecasts and account-related reports to sales management.
- Contract Command & Account Leadership: Expertly manage contracts and execute innovative account strategies that drive retention, revenue growth, and overall account success.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, organizational product changes, and system upgrades to ensure sales efforts align with the latest advancements and deliver exceptional client value.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Consistently exceeded B2B sales targets, demonstrating excellence in managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to successful closure
- Proven expertise in selling product and services solutions, delivering tailored offerings that meet client needs
- Knowledge of workplace printing and digital solutions, helping businesses streamline workflows and reduce operational costs would be an asset but not required
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Teams to optimize sales processes, improve client communication, and drive productivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective interaction
- Experience selling IT Services and Digital Services is highly preferred
- Great interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation capabilities, enabling effective engagement with clients and colleagues
- Strong customer engagement skills, emphasizing your ability to build and exceed client relationships
- Effective collaboration across stakeholders, leveraging sales aptitude with assertiveness, persistence, and keen listening skills
- Maturity and self-confidence, resilience under pressure and high level of attention to detail
- Personal drive, internal motivation, and a relentless pursuit of high achievement in every endeavor
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and constantly adapt to the situation
- Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines to ensure timely project completion while maintaining a high level of productivity
- Independent thinking and proactive execution to own end-to-end responsibility for managing client relationships effectively
