About the client:

Our client is a UK based chemical and aerosol manufacturing company headquartered in Burnley. The company specialises in product development, contract manufacturing, aerosol filling, and chemical formulation for industries such as industrial maintenance, engineering and retail.


Hours of work: Monday, Wednesday, Friday working between the hours of 16:00-20:00, totalling 12 hours per week.

  • Clean offices, meeting rooms, communal areas, kitchens, and washrooms
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout
  • Disinfect high-touch surfaces and shared equipment
  • Empty bins and manage waste appropriately
  • Replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet roll, etc.)
  • Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with COSHH
  • Report maintenance issues, hazards, or low stock levels
  • Follow all health and safety procedures
  • Work independently to complete tasks efficiently
  • Carry out keyholding duties, including locking up and setting alarms at the end of shift

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
