n this role as a Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver high standards of cleaning across designated areas, ensuring all work meets agreed service levels (SLAs) and health and safety requirements.

You will take ownership of your area, supporting your team to work efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard, while promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and motivate a cleaning team to achieve high performance
  • Ensure all equipment is clean, well maintained, and safe to use
  • Allocate tasks and monitor standards to meet agreed SLAs
  • Ensure correct use of cleaning equipment and chemicals at all times
  • Carry out quality checks and address any issues promptly
  • Promote and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond to feedback
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive high standards

About You

  • Good communication skills, including basic English reading and writing
  • Previous cleaning experience desirable; supervisory experience an advantage
  • Ability to lead a team while also working independently
  • Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise workloads
  • Positive, professional, and proactive approach
  • Flexible and willing to undertake all required training
  • Open, honest, and committed to continuous improvement
