Hours: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week)

Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and an average of two sleep-ins per week (included in salary)

Sleep-In Rate: £55 per sleep-in (included in total salary package)

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be part of a passionate and dedicated team working together to provide stability, support, and inspiration to young people when they need it most.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Residential Support Worker, your role will include:

  • Supporting daily routines: Supporting children with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities to help them develop independence
  • Educational support: Encouraging and supporting children in their learning journey, assisting with homework, and helping them develop new skills
  • Leading recreational activities: Organising and leading recreational activities, including fun events and holidays, to increase engagement and enhance well-being.
  • Emotional support: Providing guidance, care, and person-centered support to help children navigate difficult moments
  • Documentation: Completing care plans, reports, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintaining a safe environment: Ensuring the home is clean, secure, and well-organised
  • Team collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, nurturing environment

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Flexible: Willing to work shifts that include evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins

Previous experience in residential care is preferred but not essential—we provide full training to support your success in the role.
