Are you passionate about food, a natural leader in the kitchen, and ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our dedicated kitchen team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our clients and customers.

About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll take charge of a kitchen section and lead by example. You’ll be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to high standards, supporting the brigade to deliver delicious and safe meals efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run and oversee a kitchen section, ensuring food is prepared and presented to the required standards.
  • Comply with all food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen regulations at all times.
  • Train and guide commis chefs and kitchen assistants.
  • Minimise waste through effective food recovery and storage.
  • Assist in processing food orders and managing deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is used correctly and safely.
  • Support wider kitchen operations as needed.


Essential

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong culinary skills and experience in a similar kitchen environment.
  • Leadership qualities with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Business-minded approach to kitchen operations and food cost control.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and H&S compliance.
  • Positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible and committed to working a varied schedule.


Desirable

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 certification.
  • Previous experience with Compass Group systems or One Compass training (preferred but not essential).
