Sandwell College Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Careers Officer to join and Careers Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering the College Group's Careers Strategy, Careers Plan, and Careers Education Programme while providing impartial, confidential, and high-quality Information, advice and Guidance (IAG) services to learners across our campuses.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one careers guidance and group sessions
- Support the delivery of the College's Careers Education Programme
- Coordinate careers events, workshops, and UCAS activities
- Build relationships with employers, universities, and external organisations
- Monitor and report on learner engagement, progression, and careers-related KPIs
- Support the College in meeting Gatsby Benchmarks and careers quality standards
- Attend external meetings and represent the College when required
- Keep learners and staff informed about career opportunities, labour market trends, and progression routes
- Level 6 qualification in Advice and Guidance (or equivalent)
- Careers Guidance qualification, ideally at Level 6
- Experience delivering careers advice and guidance in an educational setting
- Experience working with young people, including those with additional needs
- Experience of UCAS processes and higher education progression
- Knowledge of Gatsby Benchmarks and careers quality frameworks
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle or ability to travel to our different sites
