Care Sante Kent are recruiting for a Care Assistant to join our team based in our extra care scheme at King Edward Court in Herne Bay.

King Edward Court is a supported living scheme where our Care Workers provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.

Week 1

We currently have the following position available:

Tuesday 4pm - 9pm

Thursday 4pm - 9pm

Friday 4pm - 9pm

Saturday 4pm - 9pm

Sunday 4pm - 9pm

Week 2

Monday 4pm - 9pm

Tuesday 4pm - 9pm

Wednesday 4pm - 9pm

Thursday 4pm - 9pm

Friday 4pm - 9pm

As a Supported Living Care Worker, your role will be diverse to each client within out Extra Care Scheme. You will be responsible for establishing a professional client relationship, providing life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives, within their own homes.

Job Description

• Supporting service users with onsite visits to our restaurant, hairdressers and shops.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Support with administrating medication.
• Our care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care
  
  

Requirements

• Have a right to work within the UK
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
