Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit a Business Support Assistant to join our Finance & Business Reporting team.

Edinburgh University Students’ Association is an award-winning organisation, which exists to provide diverse services, representation, and welfare support to the community of over 49,500 students at the University of Edinburgh. This role will involve daily collection of paperwork from operational outlets, liaising with outlets on any delivery issues, then processing invoices to ensure we capture all stock deliveries for monthly accounts.

Salary: £13.95 per hour, plus a generous benefits package:

Hours & Pattern:

• July: 20 hours per week expected
• August: 30 hours per week expected
• September: 20 hours per week expected

Contract: Zero Hours, Fixed Term: 20th July - 11th September 2026

Work Location: In-person

The Role:

To support the commercial departments in the ordering process, centrally overseeing orders placed are accurately processed in stock systems to ensure accurate month end accounting.

The Person:

An enthusiastic, numerate, confident and competent individual with demonstrable experience of purchasing and stock control, ideally with a good knowledge of EPOS systems and management.

A person with very high expectations of themselves and others, with a passion for detail and the ability to maintain delivery at a consistently high standard.
