Founded in 1985 and proudly family-owned for three generations, Ashleigh Signs has built a reputation for quality, innovation, and dependability. As the company enters a new phase of growth, it is looking for a dynamic Business Operations Director (BOD) to join the senior leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for the Projects, Production, and Construction departments. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, foster a culture of high performance and service, and play a key role in shaping the future of the business - strategically, commercially, and culturally.

Your Core Focus:

  • Lead by example, model the company’s values and inspire a high-performing, accountable culture
  • Deliver operational excellence and consistently high service levels across all departments
  • Embed lean thinking, robust systems, and collaborative working practices
  • Represent Operations at Board level and contribute to strategic planning and execution
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage senior operational leaders to support long-term success

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of senior operational leadership experience
  • A proven track record across production, projects, or construction environments
  • Background in manufacturing, signage, or construction (preferred)
  • A strategic thinker with a practical, execution-focused leadership style
  • High emotional intelligence and a structured, resilient management approach
  • Full-time, on-site presence with the flexibility required for high-impact delivery
