Where will you be working?

As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs. Offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for motivated, adaptable individuals with strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. You’ll ideally have previous supervisory experience and a background in a call centre environment.

In this role, you’ll support the CSC Breakdown Controllers during busy periods while helping to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee a team of Breakdown Controllers, ensuring defects and repairs are resolved within SLA, and guide the team to problem-solve effectively. You’ll also monitor attendance, highlight assets for disposal where needed, and ensure work is scheduled efficiently across both mobile teams and external suppliers.

You’ll play a key role in onboarding and training new team members, setting clear targets aligned to business goals, and managing the ticket resolution process, including midday and end-of-day closeouts. In addition, you’ll act as a mentor to the team and provide cover for the Maintenance Supervisor when required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a technical call centre environment
  • Background in inbound and outbound contact centre or service office operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT literacy
