Pay: £16 per hour weekdays, £17 per hour weekends.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to our client, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Due to role responsibilities, you must have a full UK driving licence, be a confident driver and have access to your own vehicle.
About The Client
Our client is in his 40s with a brain injury and multiple orthopaedic injuries, following a road traffic accident. As a result, he has limited use of one arm and currently has passenger anxiety, so we are keen to onboard a Support Worker who can build a trusting relationship in hope to overcome this and take him to the gym and out in the community.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care and support to our client.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and eating.
- Support client with his rehabilitation programme.
- Accompany client to the gym and out in the community.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Experience in a similar role, preferably with brain injury experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature.
- Shared interest in the gym desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Valid UK driver's license.
