About The Role

This position offers the opportunity to manage your own workload and working hours, with hybrid working and flexible start and finish times. You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative environment with the potential for reduced working hours to support childcare or other personal commitments. Your focus will be on delivering accurate bookkeeping and financial support to clients, including occasional travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks for a range of clients
  • Provide timely and accurate management information
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Prepare weekly/monthly supplier payments
  • Support accounts receivable and credit control functions
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified AAT or qualified by experience
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and related financial processes
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence (client site visits are required)
