As a Team Leader in the Blending department on the pm shift, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our blending processes. Reporting to the Blending Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated individuals and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

In more detail your role will include:

  • Supervising and leading the team of Blending Operatives during the Shift
  • Ensuring 100% conformity in bulk products and adherence to blending room

procedures

  • Logging processes and ensuring that the blending procedures are followed

accurately

  • Troubleshooting issues that may arise during blending processes and implement

corrective actions.

  • Ensuring that Quality Records are accurate, maintained and up to date
  • Assisting in managing inventory of department consumables and the purchasing of

items necessary for routine production

  • Conducting product and ingredient conformity tests using laboratory equipment
  • Calibrating measuring instruments in strict accordance with Quality Procedures.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the department.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members, ensuring their growth and

development.

  • Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practices, high

quality standard and effective housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced environment desirable
  • Effective communicator, proven experience of delivering key messages and updates

to your team and collaborating with other departments

  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing blending priorities
  • Knowledgeable of when and how to escalate issues, concerns or challenges to the

appropriate stakeholders for resolution.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
