B2B Sales / Account Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Primary Responsibilities:

Discover New Avenues for Growth:

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to pinpoint potential clients and emerging market segments.
  • Utilise various networking avenues and outreach methods to identify and qualify leads.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and competitor activities to unlock new business prospects.

Craft and Execute Strategic Sales Plans:

  • Develop robust sales strategies aimed at meeting and surpassing revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to tailor solutions that address the unique needs of clients.
  • Employ consultative sales techniques to effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.

Nurture Client Relationships:

  • Cultivate lasting relationships with existing partners and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, understanding their business objectives and challenges to offer relevant solutions.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to showcase our product/service offerings and address any concerns.

Promote Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • Forge strong connections with internal teams, including product development and customer support, to align business goals and enhance partner experiences.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the management team based on partner needs and market insights to drive innovation and enhancements.

Monitor and Report Sales Performance:

  • Maintain meticulous records of activities, including pipeline management and client interactions, leveraging CRM software.
  • Generate regular reports on performance metrics, highlighting notable achievements and areas for enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Business Development Manager role or similar position.
  • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Strong presentation skills with proficiency in conducting platform demos.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems for efficient client record management.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain client relationships.
  • Knowledge of the retail technology or financial services industry is advantageous.
