We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager within Abbott Diabetes Care's Consumer Marketing team; you'll help shape how people living with diabetes engage with our market-leading FreeStyle Libre technology.

Opportunity

In this position you will be centred on the consumer experience. You'll support the development of campaigns, digital content, social media activity, and customer engagement initiatives that educate, inspire and empower people managing diabetes every day.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you'll take ownership of selected projects and campaigns, helping to bring consumer marketing strategies to life across channels including social media, digital, search, TV and print. From managing content calendars and analysing customer journeys to coordinating agencies and navigating healthcare compliance processes, you'll gain broad marketing experience within a highly innovative healthcare business.

This position is onsite at Maidenhead

Responsibilities Include : -

  • Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements
  • To localise global marketing strategy to match the position of the brand in the UK and Ireland markets and maximise brand potential
  • Input into developing plan to market product through the promotional campaigns, utilising the full marketing mix as appropriate
  • Input into budget tracking for ensuring promotional campaigns are within agreed spending limits and A&P reporting is accurate
  • Manage plan and execute campaigns
  • Work closely with agencies to deliver promotional activities
  • Liaising closely and influencing the sales management and sales team to ensure promotional campaigns are developed appropriately and executed effectively
  • Liaising closely with all support functions (including Medical, Regulatory, Legal, OEC, Customer Services, Manufacturing. External Agencies and EMEA Marketing)

Ideal Candidate Profile

We're looking for someone with around 2-3 years of marketing experience, although we'll also consider candidates with less experience who demonstrate exceptional potential, curiosity and drive.

Education /Experience And Competencies

  • University Degree
  • Marketing Qualification preferred
  • Experience in customer facing/sales/marketing
  • Being proactive and willing to ask questions
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Resilience and adaptability
  • Attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Enthusiasm for learning and development

Healthcare experience is beneficial but not essential. More important is a positive attitude, marketing fundamentals, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
