Division Info

Located in Runcorn, United Kingdom, our newly extended 120,000 sq. ft. facility is a fully integrated site offering comprehensive manufacturing, repair, and overhaul services to the major players in the landing gear industry. Designated as a Center of Excellence, the facility specializes in surface treatment and assembly of small to medium sized landing gear systems. As a key part of the Centre of Division, supports several global programs, including: Gripen – SAAB, Hawk - BAE Systems, KF21 - Hanwha Aerospace, AW101 - Leonardo Helicopters. With a strong focus on cutting-edge technology, advanced manufacturing processes, and lean techniques, we are

committed to delivering high-value, precision-engineered components for complex landing gear systems.

Job Summary

As an Assembly Technician, you’ll be responsible for building and stripping a variety of simple and complex hydraulic units and conducting efficient inspections and fault-finding investigations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building, testing, and inspection of both routine and complex mechanical hydraulic systems
  • Fit and assemble of sub-assembly parts and components.
  • Identifying and repairing mechanically issues.
  • The ability to use variety of measuring equipment e.g. Micrometres.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and H.S.E Standards.
  • Working to engineering drawings, C.M.M s and Operation Instructions.

Requirements

Desirable:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an Assembly Fitter in the Aviation Industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulics systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Shift pattern, Early: 6.30am - 2.15pm Monday-Thursday. Friday 6.30am -12.30pm. Late 2.00pm - 9.45pm Monday-Thursday. Friday 12.30-18.30
  • Overtime available after completion of training.
  • 3 Months Training Programme, before joining the shopfloor team.
