Job Purpose

We are seeking an Apprentice Reviewer to manage a specified group of apprentices, ensuring timely reviews and monitoring their performance throughout their apprenticeship. You will work closely with Apprentice Assessors, Tutors, Support Staff, and Employers to support apprentices in their journey towards successful completion of their programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews for apprentices every 10-12 weeks, ensuring both apprentice and employer are present.
  • Schedule and record reviews in the learner management system (LMS).
  • Upload review paperwork to LMS promptly.
  • Ensure reviews cover all required points, including SMART actions, off-the-job logs, wrap-around support, and progress against the apprenticeship learning plan.
  • Liaise with tutors to ensure consistency and transparency of information.
  • Support apprentices in preparing for End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Monitor attendance, progression, achievement, and completion, organising pastoral support as needed.
  • Conduct initial health and safety vetting and regular monitoring of employer premises.
  • Ensure learner induction for new starts.
  • Collaborate with the Functional Skills team to ensure delivery of FS.
  • Maintain comprehensive candidate tracking regarding progress and status.

Professional Development

  • Participate in staff development activities and share good practice.
  • Submit timely CPD records.
  • Engage in regular performance reviews and appraisals.

Additional Duties

  • Support the development of a high-performing culture and facilitate cultural change.
  • Adhere to organisational policies, including Equality and Diversity, Health and Safety, and Safeguarding.
  • Undertake other tasks as directed to meet the needs of the College.

Essential Criteria

  • Recognised national qualification at level 3 or above.
  • Good organisational skills and strong team-working abilities.
  • Customer-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills.
