Lead a specialist service that protects people and their finances

Calderdale Council is looking for an Appointee and Deputy Team Leader to lead a specialist team responsible for managing the financial affairs, benefits, property and assets of vulnerable adults who are unable to manage these themselves.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will combine team leadership, financial oversight, safeguarding, risk management and statutory compliance. You will need to be confident working with legislation, procedures and financial controls, and able to deal with sensitive situations calmly, professionally and with empathy.

In return, you will have the opportunity to lead a committed team, develop specialist expertise, shape the future of the service and make a real difference to vulnerable adults across Calderdale.
