Role Overview

In this role you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functionality and availability of our highly innovative and market leading software applications which allow financial institutions, intermediaries and consumers to make smarter financial decisions.

Responsibilities

A typical day in application support kicks off with a daily stand-up, then throughout the day you’ll be using your skills and experience to work on tasks to address bugs or implement minor enhancements.

At times you might need to jump into action to handle emergencies and implement measured and supportive actions to minimise the impact on application users.

You'll also be reviewing monitor logs and errors to identify trends, predict potential issues, and implement proactive fixes.

The team play a central role in supporting software releases to staging and production environments, collaborating closely with our tech leads, test teams, and customer support.

Essential Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • C# development experience
  • React and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures and optimise performance
  • Experience with Azure DevOps

If you've got some experience in software support or as a junior developer, that's a big plus!

Working Location

We operate a Hybrid working model with team members working from our offices 3 times each week. At least once each week in Haddenham but the other occasions could be from our other offices including Teddington, Godalming or Huddersfield.
