Day in the life of an Analyst
As an Analyst, you'll work within one of our specialist areas:
- Homes – property, investment and repairs
- Care and Central Services
- Customer – helping us better understand our customers and the services they use
The Business Insight Team is central to delivering our refreshed approach to Data and Business Intelligence. In this role, you'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to provide data-driven insights, maintain and develop reporting solutions, and analyse information that supports evidence-based decision making.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all existing reporting is working effectively
- Analysing data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement
- Producing data extracts and insights to support service reviews and demand analysis
- Supporting the delivery of the Performance Reporting Framework by assisting with dashboards, measures and analysis

What we are looking for
We're looking for someone who brings strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for using data to drive improvement.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical analytical or data-focused role
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience of tools such as Power BI
- Strong experience delivering analytical work, including trend analysis, demand modelling and identifying service drivers
- SQL skills, with the ability to understand code and extract data
- Good understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements relating to data
- Experience working with KPI data, performance reporting and/or regulatory returns
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, including validation, review and refresh processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative approach, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A naturally inquisitive mindset and interest in data, technology and predictive analytics
- Understanding of the housing sector and the regulatory and legislative frameworks within which we operate
