We are working with an early-stage startup that is building an innovative workflow and intelligence platform powered by agentic AI, multimodal analysis, and domain-specific insight.
The Role
The Role
- Build the end-to-end architecture, security, performance, and integration of the platform
- Work closely with the Head of Product to transform specs and prototypes into production-quality code
- Lead the development of complex AI applications utilising LLMs and agentic workflows
- Contribute to building out the engineering function, including hiring, structuring, and mentoring
- Take on a hands-on lead engineering role with a clear path to CTO as the company scales
- Deep Firebase expertise (Firestore, Cloud Run, Auth, Security Rules) building production systems
- Demonstrable experience building and deploying complex AI applications using LLMs and agentic workflows
- Familiarity with vector databases (e.g., pgvector, ChromaDB, Pinecone)
- Strong desire to lead and grow into a CTO role
- Fully remote work with frequent team meetups
