Administration Assistant wanted - Maternity cover
Here at Academy Vet Centre, we are looking for a confident, organised and driven individual to join our team as an Admin Assistant. This is a fun, fast paced environment which requires a high standard of customer service and accuracy.
About The Role
The role will involve answering incoming calls, booking appointments, scheduling and coordinating farm visits, taking payments, dispensing prescriptions, stock control and ordering, dealing with enquiries and many other administration tasks required for the day to day running of our business.
This is a full-time role covering maternity leave for a period of 12 months. Shifts will be from 8:30am-17:30pm Monday - Friday with a share of the Saturday Morning rota 9:00am-12:00pm (currently 1 in 3).

We are a busy, mixed practice in the Southwest of Scotland where the grass is green and the sun always shines. We are located in a quiet rural town surrounded by beautiful countryside and surrounded by the sea with outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, hill walking and cycling on our doorstep. We have a good public transport network and are close proximity to the ferries to Ireland.
