Purpose of the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a manager to join our Accounts Payable team supporting the Head of Accounts Payable. You will manage 6 Accounts Payable staff including their training and performance. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy for all payments within the agreed timeframes and in accordance with Everywhen regulations and policies.

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
We are looking for someone who is highly experienced in Accounts Payable, principles, processes and best practice, and has proven experience managing an Accounts Payable team. You will need to be proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics D365) and have intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills.
This is an opportunity for a leader focused on developing and motivating their team who can work well under pressure, meet deadlines and be adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively across all mediums, with both internal and external stakeholders. You will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to identify and resolve complex issues.

- Develop and implement efficient accounts payable processes, procedures, and controls to improve productivity and accuracy.
- Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation, accuracy, and adherence to company policies.
- Manage the accounts payable team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Procurement, Facilities & IT, to streamline processes, optimise vendor relationships and improve overall Accounts Payable performance.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
- Management and review of all payments - both AP and non-AP related.
- Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into the central AP operating model.
