We are on the lookout an experienced Accounts Payable Manager role overseeing a team of 8 employees (3 direct reports and 5 indirect reports). Main responsibilities will be to provide timely and accurate reporting, monitor performance, and drive improvements to systems and controls, whilst continuing to support and develop the team.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective management, support, and opportunities for growth.
  • Optimize team performance with strategic resource planning.
  • Conduct regular reviews, investigations, and resolutions for Accounts Payable tickets.
  • Oversee month-end reconciliations and generate insightful commentary on monthly KPI reports.
  • Manage various financial aspects, including PO exceptions, cashflow submissions, and comprehensive bi-annual payment reports.
  • Take ownership of SOX controls for finance processes and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct CIS review and approval.
  • Play a key role in audits, collaborating closely with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
  • Address insurance claims and ensure accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Provide backup support for team leaders, approve payment runs, and handle PO price mismatch approvals.
  • Engage in process improvement projects and foster effective business partnering.
