  • Collect and verify receipts from staff to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Follow up with suppliers to obtain missing invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review aged payables, investigate discrepancies, and assist with clearing outstanding balances.
  • Assist in preparing the weekly/monthly payment run and present to the Manager for review and approval.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks, such as filing, document management, and data entry, to support the finance team.

Desirable Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

  • AAT Level 2–4 (part‑qualified or fully qualified)
  • Training or certification in payroll administration (e.g., CIPP Foundation level)
  • Experience processing weekly or monthly payroll in a fast‑paced environment
  • Handling overtime, shift allowances, bonuses, and other variable pay elements
  • Managing staff expenses, including mileage, subsistence, and travel claims
