Primary responsibility is to ensure compliance with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant who will be responsible for:
Accounts Payable
- Supporting SSC with processing of invoices, resolving queries and ensuring accurate processing
- Managing the payment process, ensuring thorough checks are performed
- Cash out forecasting
- Invoice generation and associated postings
- Collects, processes and posts invoices to customer accounts, including reconciliation of the customer ledgers
- Send statements of accounts to customers
- Monitoring aged balances and ensuring cash collection
- Support VAT return submission by providing relevant information
- Identifies General Ledger transactions related to AR, and either posts then in the ledger or provides information to Financial Accountant for posting
- Analyses and creates reports of Accounts Payables/Receivables Age (DSO/DPO)
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Customer Service, Controlling, HR, Tax...) to solve questions and issues
- Provides all of the necessary documents during audits (internal/external, statutory/tax...)
- Contributing to projects, helping to deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of financial information
- Other adhoc tasks to support Finance Manager & Team
Profile Description
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills and experience:
Desirable
- Experience with Financial Systems (AX, D365, TM1)
- AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
