Contract type: Full time

We are seeking a driven and bold Account Directorto join our Local Government SaaS sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels at identifying new business opportunities, initiating contact with prospects, and closing high-value deals. You will be instrumental in growing our customer base and driving revenue growth within the public sector.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools (Salesforce)
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure flawless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product developments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrated success in ‘hunter-style’, new business sales within a SaaS or technology environment, including experience working with the Public Sector (ideally Local Government) and engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and clearly articulate business value through thoughtful, customer-focused storytelling.
  • Well-developed sales approach, including experience in value-based selling, discovery, needs analysis, negotiation, and maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts.
  • Organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities effectively, alongside a solid understanding of SaaS sales cycles, key metrics, and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).

What We Offer

Competitive salary and bonus scheme, plus car allowance.

Hybrid Working: Achieve a healthy work-life balance with our flexible working arrangements

Pension Plan: Secure your future with our generous pension scheme, with employer contributions up to 10%.

Time Off: Recharge and rejuvenate with 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and the option to buy or sell an additional 5 days.
