The Mead Educational Trust (TMET) is a family of fifteen primary and secondary schools all based in Leicester and Leicestershire. Brook Mead Academy is the newest school in TMET, following on from the successful opening of Castle Mead Academy in September 2019. We are looking for an Academic Mentor who will join our friendly team to support scholars to make good progress in English, whether they are new to English or need support with reading or in developing skills around taking examinations.

Salary: LG Band 4

Hours of work: Your paid hours of work will be 36.5 hours per week for 38.6 weeks of the year, 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 2:30pm on Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunchbreak each day. On alternate Fridays when we hold our professional learning, your hours of work will be 8:00am to 3:30pm.
